Free Agency 2022

That's very silly money for Kirk. Scherff is a good signing though.

Bills have cut Daryl Williams and replaced him with ex Titans Rodger Saffold but OL moves are very rarely headline stealers.

Cole Beasley who has asked for a trade will probably be let go if no partner can be found, thought he might have been a good fit in Jacksonville

Brandon Scherf could be a risky signing too.

Bears seem to have overpaid for Ogunjobi. Better DTs like BJ Hill (great name) and DJ Jones have signed much cheaper deals.

Quite happy for us not to sign a big name WR in Free Agency, as the prices are bonkers, but we need OLine help.

Sad to lose Laken as he's been available pretty much every week for years now but the Niners can't pay him and he's getting a deserved pay day. Better hope that red shirting Banks last year was worth it.

Similarly DJ Jones signs for some decent money with Denver and he deserves it. He stayed healthy and performed well last season. No chance could the Niners pay him for that and now it will be down to Banks and Kinlaw to step up and replace Tomlinson and Jones.

I like the Charvarius Ward pick up from the Chiefs. Strengthening the secondary had to be a key priority this off season.

Bet all the other free agent WRs are rubbing their hand last with glee

That's utterly ludicrous paper for a guy who hasn't had a single 1,000 + receiving yard season yet. Deebo Samuel and others will be delighted with this deal. They're going to be quids in!

That Kirk contract maxes out at 84million if he hits every single incentive, which is highly unlikely. The base works out more like 18mil a year. Still hugely overpaying, but the NFL always has teams with zero talent and loads of cap space chucking bloated, front-heavy contracts at middling players.

Jags have also released Myles Jack. I think the Chargers might be one of the teams who look to kick the tyres because Staley's scheme doesn't really ask much more of the ILB's than to run around soaking up mundane tackles, which is pretty much all Jack does, and it's looking more and more like they aren't interested in bringing Kyzir White back.

Rams also released Johhny Hekker, and he should definitely be on the Chargers' radar.
