Just for the 1st goal?

1st left a big gap and Forrest runs through it, good cross though.

2nd was man against boy with Kerr being shrugged off by Nouble before putting in the cross.

3rd caught napping with the quick free kick.

4th, well Fitzwater had all day control the pass and line up his shot.

I posted that as I'd only saw the 1st but all four goals, honking defending. All four are pub league level stuff.

Just for Livi fans.Bet yous can't wait for our friend Scrutinizors summarising of todays game.Only usually comes on with a damning critique when a result hasn't went for us.Cant wait to hear his comments after that. But alas I suspect he's gone to bed.Sure he'll be back soon enough.Brace yourselves lads.🙈.

I'll have a go....

Stryjek = 1  Lazy; stays in goal when he should come up for corners.

Devlin = 1 Was he even on the pitch

Fitzwater = 1 Good goal but should have scored 3 more

Obileye = 1 too tall for a footballer

Penrice = 1 Looks too young for a footballer

Holt = 1 Too small and light for a footballer = needs to show more passion

Omeonga - 2 Mediocre

Pittman =1 Passed it at this level

Forrest = 1 Forgot he was even in the team until he was substituted

Nouble =1 No where near the standard for the team

Anderson =1 Too selfish

Is that the general idea?

I think Scrutinizer is playing a blinder here. He’s got us all noised up with his 1 or 2/10 ratings and is nowhere to be seen when we win. Alias mastery.

I expected a ‘Pittman = 1/10; was he even on the pitch”

He's an arsehole plain and simple, been made to look stupid now. Got bored of his predictable posts and put him on ignore, but looks like he's away into hiding now anyway as Hooch hasn't quoted him for a while. ;)

Hoping Omeonga & Holt playing holding mids keep allowing Pittman to be more adventurous getting into the 6 yard box, he's not been the same player this season, playing far too deep, and at the start of the season covering Devlin going forward. Looked more like his old self against Dundee. With Forrest, Penrice, Devlin & Nouble we'll get plenty of balls into the box, so vital Anderson and Pittman get themselves in there.

For Dundee, the back 5 was a shiter. When a team plays with 3 CBs, the outside two must be comfortable and capable to defend wider, often up against the opposition winger. You see with the first Livi goal, Rossi at right CB left his wing back and midfielders trying to scamper back and challenge Forrest while he just stayed central and took up a useless No Man's Land position. Similarly with the second goal, Sweeney just pointlessly tucked into a central No Man's Land position and left his wing back to deal with Nouble.

So a back 4 must be played from now on as Dundee's CBs are not suited to a 5. Another change needed is only selecting either Mullen or Rudden, not both together as they're too similar. Then in McMullan, McGinn and McCowan, that's three good wingers which two can be selected from. So McGhee should go 4-3-3. He seems intent on moulding a solid, defensive side but that'll only bring draws and narrow defeats. Its wins and the 3 points they bring which are needed in relegation battles so you actually want a more attack-minded side.
