Some things mean more in football than money.

Not bending over and taking the Celtic boaby is one of those things.

Rather be six feet under than bent over 90 degrees.

Thank you.

Careful. Ric will come after you and start talking about under 21 football in defence of his tinpot team.

Happened decades ago. We've outgrown it.

Central belt is the problem.

You haven't, it's an endemic problem within society, which can only be resolved once you get rid of religion. Certainly my preferred opinion.

Again, you are using far far too broad a brush. This is the central belt..

..it includes places as far apart as Greenock and Dundee.

McGhee's face once he realised what sort of job he's taking on.

As for the response, that is the central belt as defined by geography, the image itself comes from the Wikipedia article discussing the 'region'

Anyway, to the game. We've lost two games to teams outside the top three in all competitions this season. One was at Pittodrie and bizarrely the only other time was at home to Dundee. The plucky bottom of the table Dees are clearly capable of causing an upset, and will surely fancy themselves here.

If we get the win we will go two points clear in fourth, draw we go up one place to sixth and become one of four teams on 34 points.  We are in superb form, only the green bigots have more points than us in the last six games.  Of our eight games so far in 2022 we have won six and drew two of them.

Obvious caveat is we will surely be without a manger again, and i felt we did dip a bit at Livingston on Saturday, we still never lost though. I think we need to get Tanser back in, we improved when he came on at the weekend and he's clearly an upgrade on Tait. I assume Dunne is suspended after that ridiculous red, so that will be a straight swap for McCarthy to get his first start for about four months.

Alnwick

Fraser-McCarthy-Dunne-Tanser

Power-Gogic

Jones-Kiltie-Ronan

Greive

We haven't lost at Dens Park since 2013, when Bomber Brown said were going down like the Titanic. In typical Dundee style their relegation was confirmed shortly afterwards. Would always take a point on the road in this league.

1-1 to keep the 2022 unbeaten bus rolling on.

🤔 Don't think that's what a 'straight swap' is tbh, poor Shaughnessy did nothing wrong.

I'd take that lineup though, please field an ineligible player.

Have we not appealed Dunne's red? I appreciate we have other things on our mind, but by f**k that was a classic Collum being an idiot moment.

We've appealed it, so i imagine he'll be playing on Wednesday.

Good, at least the normal paperwork is carrying on in the background. Is it a panel these days, or are we still relying on referees to admit their mistake before clearly incorrect decisions are overturned?

I also wonder, although this is a general point, who makes the decision to appeal. Manager? Chairperson? Accountant?

I’ve always pitied the Dumpdee Derry Boys on this forum

It can’t be easy thinking you’re a big club when in reality there is a bigger, better supported and more successful club in the same city.

And having never personally witnessed your club win a major trophy must be painful.

But as long as glorifying the Apprentice Boys of Derry keeps you happy 😂
