Not one I saw coming, not really sure what to make of it. Why did he leave Motherwell - was he sacked or did he jump before he was pushed?

Should at least please those folk who insisted it had to be someone experienced.

Left before he was pushed.

Read The Sun story, all it says is SR is the "bookies favourite".

Would be happy with SR, but will still be gobsmaked if it happens...

Looks a done deal according to the ITK'ers.  That Fabrizio Romano doesn't get it wrong often, he has 7 million twitter followers, so he must be right.

Plus there would be compensation for Lee Sharp going as well.
Maybe Morecambe just want Derek Adams back?

That’s not a bad shout.

There’s also the chance that Robinson’s release clause isn’t as much as Goodwin’s was.

Robinson would be a good appointment. Experience, knows our league, will have established contacts, and is probably better looking than most of the others mentioned thus far.

Makes sense when you think about it. Out of the blue we lose a good looking Irishman with the silver fox hair and beard look - so we just go out and get another one.

Easy the Mirren.

Gobsmacked that we can afford to buy out a 2&abit years contract of an EFL1 manager but with the combined compo for JG/LS & looking at Morecombe's current position in L1 it's maybe a good deal all round - lucky I didn't make a tit of myself by saying there was no chance of it happening!  🤦
