He scores the odd goal, but misses far more and far easier chances than he scores and 90% of the time doesn't look like he has a clue what he's doing, offensively or defensively.. He has great pace and maybe they think he can be moulded into a player because of that. But as of right now I think he's a million miles off your starting 11, personally. Better than Diallo (who'd be as well not there) but about the same level as Scott Wright, both of whom are a million miles behind Kent, Arfield and Aribo. I don't really rate him that much just classic forum commentators curse had to be pointed out. I think he could work well for some teams, frightening pace, decent hold up play and he can finish and score headers. Doesn't suit our type of play at all and unsure why we signed him. He's a lovable guy and hopefully we can mould him into a player. Going to lose some staunch points here but I think Wright is rotten. Would have Sakala ahead of him every day of the week.
Orbix
Our system needs some slightly more unpredictable players to stop teams playing to suit us. Sakala offers that, either deliberately or not.
Girth
That was predictably depressing. Is it me or do we seem even worse under Muttley!? I mean, McPake would have just bent over in this game too tbf. Concentrate on a promotion challenge next season (without Muttley). Thank you.

To be fair, I don't think Wright is great either, I just don't think he's any worse than Sakala.Neither are realistically good enough for your team IMO. Though with Wright I think it's fair to say he looked to have taken a huge confidence hit in the Gerard era when it didn't matter how will he played he was left out. Start of the season he was arguably your in form player. Became a shadow of that as the weeks wore on to the point he's never seen, even in a hanger like this. If I were him I'd be pretty annoyed that a loan player who has shown nothing is getting half an hour before me in games that are won.Think it's safe to say that alone tells you Wright won't be there next season.Looking for an example to emphasise the point I'm trying to make about your transfer progress with the likes of Sakala though and (albeit going back a few seasons), I don't think either are as good as Candeias was, for example. The only difference is they're younger.

I guarantee you we would have at least had a bit of fight with McPake in this game over this assclown. There's no point in taking stock in these games for the remainder of the season in my humble opinion, lest you wish to pain yourself further. As far as I'm concerned, it's not my team until the summer. Compared to this unrepentant garbage week in, week out, I can't wait for the Championship under somebody else... anyone else, quite honestly. The Master
Oh well. Could have been a lot worse, which is saying something when we lost 3-0 at home. Onwards and downwards.

Your team employed that scummy b*****d McPake , took on that scummy b*****ds Griffiths, employed that scummy b*****d Drysdale, still have that scummy wee nothing McGowan. We ll be rid of you scummy nothings soon enough Is that dignified enough for you? dearie me if this is the state you get in after a win..i'd hate to be your wife when you lose

I share your pain RBFD, I really do, but don’t forget McPake had the advantage of it being the players that he (unbelievably) wanted and felt he could shape into a side capable of competing in the top flight. Also it was only a few months ago under McPake that we conceded 5 at home to Real Madrid / Barcelona / Ross County! We also conceded 6 against Celtic at the start of the start of the season. I’m just not buying it that the players aren’t still trying.

It's incredible that a manager who was a striker can set up teams so negatively. As opposed to McPake a defender who couldn't set us up to defend properly (apparently) Maybe we should bring McPake back and have a revolutionary new take on football management Twa managers McGhee/McPake combo..... the way forward

Simply asked by police what he said and police left it at that. Racist told police I just called him a fat b*****d! This on the same day TV have to apologise for swearing aimed at Calvin Bassey when he was racially abused by Dundee supporters But of course utter silence from Dundee FC! Utter silence from the Dundee posters. Compare that to the Rangers posters who were embarrassed by the Rangers supports songbook. -
