topcat(The most tip top)
I don’t know who that oddball was but he seems like an inspired choiceInstead of ensuring things are seen to be above board by getting someone beyond reproach to do the cup draw the SFA have instead recruited a human being so transparently inadequate in every respect that the idea of him being part of any nefarious plot is ludicrous
Sonam
As usual, Rangers and Celtic kept apart until the inevitable money spinning Semi Final / Final stage. What a joke! Easy ties for old firm all the way through the tournament. Same with League cup (until Semi final stage) Sure, tested eventually in Semi final, but alas is always a "home' tie in Glasgow by then. When last did old firm meet before the Semi final stage ? Been ages since they were drawn together in earlier rounds. Happening Too often these days, spoiled the cup.

They would go on to win the cup. Exactly ten years later seems a good time to put those demons to bed. Would take beating Hibs 5-1 in the final too. Allowing St Mirren's blatantly offside equaliser to stand at Tynecastle certainly was a shocker but luckily we overcame it in the replay A home tie against none of the OF is what you want, so can't grumble but will be a tough one.

The Master
1 minute ago, Les Cabbage said: Suspect Celtic and Rangers games will be played in the late afternoon/early evening because Premier Sports will pick them. That leaves, I would assume; two lunchtime slots for the other two games live on BBC. The only spanner that could be put into the works is if Celtic and Rangers both manage to win in Europe as they’d have European games the Wednesday before. Suspect they’ll put Celtic on the Sunday and Rangers on the Saturday as they’re more likely to progress. Fingers crossed for the Saturday slot for Hibs, fed up of being fucked over by TV picks this season. I’m not sure they’ll take a punt on either Old Firm European result. If they’re going to do that, they’d be as well waiting until after next Thursday. As unlikely as it is that Rangers progress, there’s still a chance and it’s better to have a fully confirmed schedule than one with an asterisk.

Sshhh, that doesn’t fit the narrative that requires literally every single person ever to be involved in a Cup draw to be in on this conspiracy. Including a clearly pissed Rod Stewart.
Munoz
Happy enough with the draw, although a home draw would have been preferable. Hopefully a half decent kick off time. Edited February 14, 2022 by Munoz

Surely just put the Dundee v Rangers game down for Saturday with it being moved to Monday night if Rangers go through in Europe. Allows everyone else to get proper notice instead of 10 days and there’s no chance Rangers are beating Dortmund anyway.

topcat(The most tip top)
As for HeartsFour weeks to steady the ship sufficiently to avoid an upset and then probably another 4 weeks to try and prepare an upset in our favour

The last time they met in a Scottish Cup QF was 2003/04. League Cup QF 2005/06. That's pretty staggering considering both are in the QFs most years. Just the odd year one of them isn't. Genuinely who at the BBC thought who could we get to the draw and came up with Paul Slane. That said it was a midweek up in Peterhead. So he probably was literally the last name on the list. I remember seeing him live in Europe playing Steaua Bucharest in Bucharest and thinking he was the best Motherwell player on the pitch. But story goes he is from BIG Celtic supporting family and his Father decided it would be better for him to get literally no minutes at Celtic than play in the Motherwell 1st team. That usually ends well.
