Death and destruction everywhere but Detournement and his arse licking pal want to talk about a museum shutting down. You'd think with all that death and destruction that Ukrainian nationalists would have other priorities than getting their knickers in a twist about long-dead Soviet writers and trying to erase any cultural history that doesn't suit their own blood and soil narrative. But here we are.

ICTChris
There’s lots of talk on Russian channels about that strike, a lot of military bloggers are going crazy about it, criticising housing soldiers in a building like that, saying that some commanders aren’t taking HIMARS seriously etc. Since the introduction of HIMARS Russia have split up their stockpiles of ammo and equipment but still housed hundreds of soldiers in an unfortified structure within range of HIMARS. Reports of between 50 and 300 deaths.
Sherrif John Bunnell
I don't remember Jackie Bird ever using the Hogmanay show to threaten an invasion of Scotland's neighbours. It's still funnier than Only an Excuse though. Edited January 2, 2023 by Sherrif John Bunnell

Doesn't look at worse than our new year telly. I'd probably be quite happy to live in a totalitarian regime.

If the price of gas is so low, why are bills not coming down, is it because power companies buy in advance? Presumably this means heating homes etc will be cheaper next year?

Presumably there will be a cost on replacing piped gas from Russia to shipped LPG from Qatar and the US, but that won't affect the UK much directly.
