Nobody asked putin on his thoughts on Scotland as an independent state?

The tanks are on their way. Mainly to use the Unionist hell holes in Lanarkshire to practice for post nuclear warfare.

Rt is a superb watch every one of the "refugees" that's fleeing Lugansk has had to leave behind a family member who works either in healthcare or food supply.Personal favourite is there's an old guy in front of a empty train station telling the camera that all forms of transport are packed and he is trying to get his grandkids to safety. No shots of said children and not another person in shot

The island of Ireland was and in part still is integral to the UK, so international law isn't really applicable in that context.

Only since the 1600s, so again it comes back to an argument about there being some sort of cut-off point for invasion and assimilation being allowed.

Trump ripped up the Iran nuclear deal and took sides in the Sunni v Shia proxy war in the Middle East. He started economic warfare against China and Iran. He attempted coups in Venezuela. He pissed on the Palestinians by moving the Embassy to Jerusalem and putting his son-in-law in charge of "peace negotiations". He kept troops in Syria after he was told the territory they were guarding had some oil. He stopped any other Afghans being involved in withdrawal negotiations with the Taliban. etc...etc...

Aye, but apart from that...

Check out Spain and Catalonia on referenda for what that means in practical terms in the present day. What won't be talked up in the western media is how the recognition of Kosovo as independent set a dangerous precedent in a European context.

Kosovo is certainly being talked up by Vlad. With some justification.

Obviously the whole situation was in the context of genocide and it also wasn't a sort of annexation of a neighbour by Albania.

But for illustrating that the West only has principles that suit the West it's not bad.

They're Americans and this is not a country founded in 1776. The chances are extremely high that they don't even know what continent their embassy is located in.

I know someone who worked at the US embassy in Chisinau until recently and he was far smarter and knowledgeable than I am or you come across as. I don't see why those in Kiev would be so different.

RT is great.  What it does best is get non Russian ‘experts’ (hello, Mr Salmond) to do their bidding, and the Trump/Pilger/Beeley loon all access all echo it, and claim that the BBC/CNN/PBS are just as bad.

Donald Trump was by no means a pacifist.  He just took the Gabbard side of the conflict coin  rather than the Pentagon one.  In this particular situation, he’d only avoid being accused of an interventionist by letting Putin do whatever he wanted.  Make no mistake, he was far from an isolationist.  He was also only a one term president, three and half years of which he spent playing golf.

He also sent the US army to guard electricity networks in Saudi Arabia for no apparent reason.

I don't think that it's surprising that Carlson and Fox want to make this about culture wars tbh, but the 'anything less than hating Putin is treason' thing certainly rings true in some Western political and journalism circles.
