I wonder what Gerrard's departure will mean for McGinn. Hopefully it revitalises his season, although he was a bit better last night, but it's clear that he had Gerrard's trust so there's a chance the new guy won't be the same, especially considering how he's performed.

He was a guaranteed starter under Dean Smith too.

I'm sure he will get plenty of game time, not playing the full 90 for every game of the season probably good for him and the team.

Plays as an attacking midfielder behind the striker but doesn't take part much in build up, instead he just looks to make runs into goal scoring positions. Similar to how McGinn has been used for Scotland the last two years.
