vikingTON
Not sure why these perpetual chancers should even be allowed to compete in the NCL, they've fulfilled zero home games and failed to fulfil the play-off as well. Get them turfed out out and required to reapply when someone borderline competent is running the place. Or just start afresh.

Loads of teams across the country jumping through hoops to get them and these cowboys are constantly falling below the very minimum standard for being a functioning football club.
LongTimeLurker
Did they assume BoD would have to let them use Spain Park for their home leg as happened during the regular league season if Claggan Park or whatever it is called didn't pass muster? Hard to believe they could be that disorganised otherwise. The already accepted by the NCL bit posted above suggests the rational outcome has happened.

welshbairn
Quote Subsequent discussions with the manager led to the conclusion that club personnel were unaware of the existence of one of the two remaining goalkeepers. The Secretary suggested that this needed checking out. The League was then informed that it appears that this person was unknown to club management and is a member of the armed forces currently away on duty. This had not been included in the second request for dispensation.

The fact they were unable to play at home the whole season, and were then unwilling to rectify minor issues 9 months later should be grounds enough for suspending the licence pending SFA investigation.
LongTimeLurker
A couple of seasons back there would have been a serious question as to whether BoD actually even wanted to go up. Doubt that's the case now as they probably want to try to reach the SPFL like Cove did but it would be hilarious if they didn't want to, were planning to throw the games and found out by phone they were automatically promoted because Fort William had withdrawn.
