Money rules just about everything in football. Surely McPake's tenure is based on whether the club have budgeted on relegation. Not saying that is a certainty at this point, of course.

Yeah, McPake is viewed as a 'project' by Nelms, one he deemed no doubt as successful with last season's promotion, though I reckon I could've got us promoted with the wage gap we enjoy at that level.

It will take a lot for Nelms to give up on his project, I reckon relegation might not even be enough.
