And quite right, Dundee are where they should be with a squad of championship jobbers.

Reality check needed.

Pretty sure he assembled the ‘squad of championship jobbers’ because he was too busy trying to recruit every nutter in Scotland to play up front.

He’s obviously a fairly shite manager.

Taking training today

In the Courier today:

'As it stands, there are no plans to make a change in the dugout, though a telephone call from across the Atlantic would change that quickly.'

Most of Dundee's squad are McPake's mates apparently.

For the millionth time, I'm not. That's you who randomly decided to claim I said that and run with it.
You're a very strange person who wants the Dundee clubs to join and become "Dundee City" though.

Look you did say it, I found the post and quoted it, and you know it.
Not in favour of Dundee City, just Dundee FC would suffice.

Money rules just about everything in football. Surely McPake's tenure is based on whether the club have budgeted on relegation. Not saying that is a certainty at this point, of course.

No, his tenure is based on being viewed as the blue eyed boy by John Nelms.

Yeah, McPake is viewed as a 'project' by Nelms, one he deemed no doubt as successful with last season's promotion, though I reckon I could've got us promoted with the wage gap we enjoy at that level.

It will take a lot for Nelms to give up on his project, I reckon relegation might not even be enough.
