Hilarious as this is, there's more than enough evidence in his record to believe he'll be an upgrade on McPake (as the man himself said, look him up on wikipedia) and it's not quite as insane as Bomber Brown.

That's about as far as any positive spin can go though. The last time he did something approaching a decent job was six years ago and there's no way he should be getting a job at this level in 2022, even before considering his personality and tendency to turn clubs into toxic basketcases.

An absolutely horrendous appointment but the 6 game ban hanging over him just makes it even more baffling. Only worry for me is Strachan ends up back with us when he gets put out on his arse for this.
