Think I'd be better at flags than country shapes but this works better as a puzzle than the flag one. Spoiler Narrowed this down to a choice of 3 (helped by Scotland playing all these teams in qualifiers a few years ago) after guess 5 then picked the wrong one! It helps narrow it down if you are within a thousand kilometres. I was more referring to the idea that the UK and New Zealand looked like Japan, but if you were just hunting for distance clues fair enough.
