We understand – and share – the frustrations of Thistle supporters following Saturday’s postponement, our second due to the pitch this season.

So a pitch maintenance specialist will assess the pitch today to provide recommendations to the club on treating the waterlogged parts of the pitch. Improvements will be implemented immediately.

Thoughts....?

How long is it until you get your ground back? Are you looking to ground share next season too?

The aim is to be playing at Lesser from the start of next season. We'll see.

Would be hilarious if this game is on tomorrow then the Thistle game gets called off again on Saturday. We've only played once on the pitch since Dec 4

What is the record for most games drawn in a 36 game season? Have any QP fans looked into that yet? The number you guys have recorded so far is bizarre. As many wins all season as us, yet as many defeats as the runaway league leaders. I can't remember ever seeing something like that.

9, 1-1 draws and they’ve scored first in 8 of them[emoji15]

Upside, glad to see they are taking it seriously and not just hoping for better weather.

Downside, what does the head groundkeeper do for their day job?

Officially does the fact that Partick have a home cup game vs Dundee Utd. on Saturday have any bearing on whether or not this game goes ahead tomorrow? I wonder .

I have a bad feeling the pitch maintenance specialist is going to recommend a few days rest for the pitch[emoji848]

No idea but we drew 18 out of 39 games when won the old Division Two in 1980/81!  (won 16 and lost 5)

As it was only two points for a win back then, the draws didn't do us much damage.

Is this pay at the gate and when will we find out if it’s on? I don’t want have to buy tickets before I know the game is on.

No pay at the gate. Computer switched on right up to kick-off. Weather forecast is continuous pishing doon tonight with moderate pishing doon tomorrow. The grass scientist will need Harry Potter's wand to get this game on.

In the unlikely event that this is on, I’m feeling decent about this one. Whilst there’s still obvious teething problems, I actually felt like I could see what we were at least attempting to do on Saturday. We created chances and looked like we might actually win the game towards the end, which hasn’t been a characteristic of recent weeks.

Thought McHugh, Darcy and Quitongo gave Falkirk a wee bit more to think about when they came on. I don’t know how many games McBride has been playing recently, so can see the logic of going with him again as well. Quiet debut, but got to let the kid find his feet. Would expect to see Reid as well.

If and I know how big an “if” this is, we can edge in front, and not shite our collective pantaloons, I actually really fancy us to win well.  We’ve had Dumbarton’s number, so far.

The most we've drawn is 17/39 in 1977/78 when we finished fourth in the first division. With only two points for a win, we'd have had to win ten of them to overtake Hearts for promotion.

The only league season we didn't draw at all was 1895/96.
