Dundee V Dundee United

Recommended Posts

Putting rivalry aside for a minute, this is the best derby in the country (world?) by far, and the continued insistence of the TV companies to screen the far inferior Glasgow and Edinburgh versions does a huge disservice to both clubs, and the Scottish game in general.

The less we (Dundee) are on tv the better. We’ll just enhance the reputation that’s Scottish football is utter dug shite.

Any United fan (literally don't care about their age, I'll punch a baby) wanting a physical battle pre/post match come right ahead.

Hopefully Shaun Byrne cripples Butcher before Butcher cripples one of our silky samba footballers.

Anyone have that photo of the shite 'our season starts' now banner that United fans displayed during their relegation season?

Before anyone goes for the tap in joke, aye, we could probably use it right now.

It's touching to see the Dees keep the memory of Wee Jum going. Continuing to let him live rent free in their heads from beyond the grave.

Respect.

Indeed, respect to an ex player who represented Dundee FC in a European semi final and a domestic cup final whilst scoring, plus obviously of course being a former highly rated first team coach. No coincidence the man still knew how to smile whilst resplendent in the Famous Dark Blue.
