The_Kincardine
The 'Yoof' of Lowry, McCann, King plus the new boys of Amad and Zukowski all showing well. Roofie and Wright not so much.
bennett
A decent display from the young bears who played, job done on a horrible night for fitba. Annan seemed pretty decent and grew more confident as the game progressed.

There was at least 20 in the press area, not including TV crew of course, big step up from the usual 4 or 5 at Galabank! About the game, from an Annan perspective. Not as bad as it could have been. The team certainly didn't get embarrassed, but firmly acknowledge that Rangers could of course have stepped up a few gears in the second half if they needed to. Just a shame to go behind so early before the players had a chance to calm down and settle into the game, and then again to concede the third to a fluke/screamer when losing possession during their best spell of the game. Not many chances of course but that's to be expected. The few that did come up were often snatched at where you would have seen more composure in a normal league game. A few players certainly did their reputations no harm though, particularly Moxon in the middle of the park who's been a standout for Annan all season.
