rhliston
We make the long trip to Stranraer before our big game against the Rangers on Friday, lets hope the players don`t switch off against Stranraer and save themselves for the Rangers game. We need to get something from this game to keep us in touch with the teams above us. Its going to be interesting to see how the players react after the defeat to Kelty last week. Lets hope we will be leaving Stair Park with something for the journey back up the road. Prediction Stranraer 1 Binos 1

Erin Quinn
Just hope we don’t have our usual second half collapse today.

rhliston
Well disappointed with the late penalty to Stranraer to give them a share of the points when it looked like we we would be going up the road with all 3 points but thats football for you. First half nothing much in it but felt Stranraer came more into the game second half and deserved to go in front 2-1 but after making a double substitution of Moore and Mackin we got the equaliser and when Cummings got the third it looked like we would be getting the points but an late injury time penalty was our undoing. Still its a point better than nothing. P.S Thanks to the Stranraer Young Team for waving goodbye to the Albion Supporters Bus when we left Stair Park, much appreciated.
TheVoiceofReason
I see the Stirling chairman posting on Twitter that he's not happy with a refereeing decision. No class.
EdinburghBlue
To be fair, the current standard of refereeing in Scotland is the worst I can remember in over 50 years of attending games but 40 clubs suffer equally from their poor decisions.

I agree but the ones to blame are the players who cheat by diving or otherwise trying to con the referee. This is reinforced by managers/coaching staff. I see now that Bill Orr - the performance chap at Stirling - has joined in. Possibly understandable just after the match but next morning? Poor show all round.
Nigel Blackwell
You can blame the officials all you want but when the manager of one of the clubs cheats to win a penalty what chance have they got. This is the same manager who last week claimed that when one of his of his players handles the ball in the box it isn’t a penalty. He then goes on to question the officials. This is despite the officials simply applying the rules.

The standard of refereeing on Saturday was on a par with the football on show. Six goals made the game entertaining, although this was a match between two poor sides who are reaching for the safety of mid-table mediocrity in the fourth tier. That said a draw was probably a fair result, both sides had periods of "dominance" although the final equaliser came in a less than satisfactory manner. Albion's late defensive substitution left no out ball and only invited Stranraer to keep the pressure on, they did and "won" a penalty. The video clip from Stirling camera does indicate no contact in the tackle with Robertson. It will be interesting to see what the Stranraer highlights will show.
headthebaw
A dive. We’ll you would, wouldn’t you? It’s 95th minute, you're about to lose the game and you’re in the box with defenders in front of you.
