Scott Brown scoring against Clyde from outside the box? I've never seen this film before. Embarrassing.

Literally everytime we are up there. Scandalous

This is really where we are just now. Defend for our lives and hope we nick one on the counter attack. In fairness, we've got ourselves up the table playing like that but it is horrendous to watch. To basically create one chance in 90 minutes against a team who are below us in the table is unacceptable.

If the "recruitment team" can't find anyone who can improve that line-up then they should be sacked on the spot; we're literally starting every week with multiple Lowland league players.

Big credit to Parry who made one excellent save and two good ones. There was plenty of effort from the rest but quality? Almost none.

Agreed, the recruitment team should be looking constantly for new players and don’t buy in to what was said last week that there’s not many players about. Dumbarton signing 3 players and east Fife also adding 2. Alloa the only team below us not to sign a player this window yet. Seems to me that the “recruitment team” simply canny be arsed

Agreed. their sole, focussed job is to scout, assess and recommend a LIST of potential targets. They know when the signing windows are so plenty of time to make enquiries and run it past the manager. To not even announce 1 addition 15 days into a transfer window raises questions and sounds alarms bells. When you do your business early then the fanbase get some comfort that the signings were planned and wanted. A surge of loans at the last minute smacks of desperation at the bset of time but when you have a full time scouting/recruitment team as well.......?

Interesting to note that Dumbarton's brand new target man impressed and even grabbed a debut goal today. The constant mewling from Lennon (and now Moore too) about the difficulty of the January window is piss-weak as it is, but made even worse when you consider that same window (give or take a few days either side of it) in their first season saw us recruit Lang, Love, Boyle, Cogill, Grant and McStay, all of whom went on to be big players for us. It's wearing very thin now and surely comes down to pure laziness on the parts of all involved in the front-end of recruitment at the club. Elsdon's agent touting him about (as happens constantly with players now), Balatoni phoning Lennon, scraping around lower-ranked teams for players nobody else wants - it's embarrassing, and we should justifiably expect much more than being reduced to a team of honest smash and grab merchants with one outstanding player.

They're currently busy missing out on their first, second, third and fourth choices

Both teams are where they are for good reason. Two poor teams and although we should have been out of sight, ended up being grateful for a point.

Our three Dundee loanees all conspicuously absent today so not looking good on that front.

Add in Simon Ferry going off early AGAIN and it's going to be a struggle for us and other teams to get a squad in place and avoid the dreaded ninth place.

Mulligan is for sure heading back to us, but was surprised to see no Cameron or Strachan. Maybe their loans need renewed or something, Idk if theirs were season-long or just til this month, but I see no reason why we'd be taking them away right now unless it's just for short-term reinforcements while we wait for new signings.

Don't even know why Si is even starting games at this point, it feels like he's came off early every game this season. Still reckon you've got more about you than Dumbarton at least.

We’ll only get so many points from “working hard” and “putting in a shift” - the point is the squad is full of L2 and below quality. It’s a miracle we are where we are in the league.

Disappointed to lose the late equaliser but I’d have taken a draw pre match. It’s scary how little a threat we were though.

We simply need more quality in as soon as possible. We wont survive on hard work and luck alone, ironically the back four tend to do their jobs now (not saying it can’t be improved far from it) but we can probably get away with what we have for this season at the back, just only just.

But… midfield and support for Goodie is the vital area  we get bodies in that are better than what we have. We simply don’t keep the ball and continue to make poor choices particularly when defending opposition when they drive forward in possession.

Yes, at least we get a point on the board we which is always  positive I suppose.

Although miles ahead in all the stats it looked like it was going to be another of those days, not converting chances & switching off at the back to allow the Clyde players to form a queue to head in without a challenge was going to cost us the points. Just as well we had Scott Brown to get his usual goal late on. We are far too cumbersome in our build up play with so many passes going sideways or backwards. We will miss Mulligans direct running & can only hope that players brought in to replace the Dundee boys add to our play.

Ferry going off and wasting Brown at right back is a shocking managerial decision.  Could have put Rusty at the back and moved out one of the centre backs, it would have certainly allowed us to create far more.

I am also getting fed up with this playing it across the back and certainly when we are one down and less than 10 minutes to go.  We seem to think we are Barca.  Even S. Brown was raging at the slowness of our play.

A point rescued but Clyde taking a point away from that game still feels like robbery tbh.

We also need to get Ryan Duncan more involved in the games. He has blistering pace and the ability to get passed people, just give him the ball.
