Everyone’s Other Favourite Team - HMFC v St Johnstone

Recommended Posts

Be good to see how the new lad looks. Hopefully not the only new face.

It’s been 2/3 so far in our run of games against blue diddies. Let’s make it 3/3.

Looking forward to being back in Tynecastle. ♥️

Be interesting to see what the metric is regarding "Everyone’s Other Favourite Team" .. ;)

St Johnston win here, btw, much to the surprise of the away support.

Not sure this makes sense.

Exactly as it says on the tin, tbh. We had a three match run against the three diddy teams in blue, before our cup game, and the OF and derby on the horizon. We have beaten two out of three so far, and on Tuesday we play the third:

So 2 out of 2 then.

Pros: we have Cleary, Gallagher & Ciftci to play with here. It gives us something different.

Con: Ali Crawford will hide away for 65 minutes and Jamie McCart will be too busy trying to crane his neck in the direction of Easter Road to bother defending.

1-1.

I don’t think it would take anything as scientific as a vote. It’s just a known. Heart of Midlothian Football Club. Everyone knows it, but most would never admit it. We all know it deep down though. The good guys, if you will.

No, the total number of opponents in the run of games is three. Two have been played from that total. The third are up next.

1/3  Dundee
2/3 Ross County

Now we play the third of those three teams in the run:

3/3 St Johnstone.

Three diddies I’m the run. Two already played. Third of those diddies on Tuesday.

I mean I should thank your team for the constant hilarious entertainment during the 20/21 season. That comedian line up of Budge, Deans and English was inspired and once the pandemic is over, I suggest they take a run at the Fringe.

So I mean in that sense, they were certainly my favourite team a season or so ago. Oh, that and 1986, too. That was fun. So... yeah, maybe they are on reflection.

I think the main thing is, you’re clearly not holding on to any unnecessary bitterness nor angst. It’s good to see you moving on. break up love GIF by WE tv

Don’t be mad because you got sucked into this debate when all you wanted was bites from your low level fishing OP.

The blue diddies were always guaranteed. It was just 50/50 that the baited hook would catch a sheep though.

Oh, go on then... I lived in Edinburgh for 5 years, trust me if anyone has deeply seated, misplaced and unnecessary bitterness towards a specific club it's Hearts fans.

Thankfully I lived in Leith, which isn't really part of Edinburgh when you think of it. ;)

Anyway, not to get away from the football, 1-2 will be the scoreline, and if Kane is playing he's score. I think he's a shit player but by f**k he loves chipping in a goal when nobody expects it.

It’s zero so far buddy.

If you want to count me as a bite then crack on.

I think it’d be easier to discount you, if you could tear yourself away from the thread for five minutes. 😄
