Arbroath v ICT

Recommended Posts

Would have been a bonus if Caley had a tough 90 minutes on a heavy pitch tonight but that’s now not happening. We beat them up there and were easily the better team so absolutely no need to fear them. Would be nice to open up a wee gap at the top.

Aye, a midweek game on a winter waterlogged muddy pitch would not be the best.

As for previous form, the two away wins were the result of fortuitous circumstances and whereas two draws might have been fair, a win apiece seems altogether more acceptable

Jack Hamilton expected to sign before Sunday, be interesting to see him come on and play with Nouble if we’re needing a goal

Checked his career and found Hamilton, though signed by Livingston, is a professional lower league loan player with six loan clubs.

He's been carefully managed from a young age, loaning him out to a junior side, then into the lower league of the SPFL, been pretty prolific at scoring goals for most of his loan teams, but hasn't really fitted in with how Livi played this season, not got the pace we need in a striker to work off the ball, or run in behind defenders. Certainly a goal scorer though if he's used properly, and Arbroath have already had him on loan last season and got goals out of him.

Ironically i think he'd have linked up well with Nouble, but we're sending him out on loan as we're bringing Nouble back to Livi, will be interesting to see if they link up for this game before Nouble comes back to Livi.

This now has a real big game feel to it, I don’t think we deserved to lose to ICT first game and missed the 1 nil win up there, either way think it will be very tight but no reason we can’t Nick it and stay top, hopefully no fecking covid issues.

You will stay top even if we win, we need to score a fuckload of goals otherwise and I can't see that happening as we did with Greenock.

Arbroath now got to be seen as one of the favourites to win the league by anyone. Hamilton and Mobile together, genuinely sounds terrifying for any team in this league, if they got the chance to play together.

But seems like we've had a few top of the table clashes and come out on top. Arbroath are just the next challenger. Caley win, though no chance of going back top.

For any supporters wanting to watch Sunday's game it will be live on arbroathfc.tv for £13.

It's a live camera operated by a skilled professional, with two co-commentators and pre and post match interviews.

All the details can be found on the Arbroath FC website - https://www.arbroathfc.co.uk/arbroath-vs-ict-pay-per-view/

Due to many supporters and season ticket holders unable to get in due to the spectator maximum of 500 we are running a test login event on Saturday 1st January from 5pm to 7pm at arbroathfc.tv

Season Ticket Holders should use their email address they signed up with their season tickets, and if this is the first time since last season you will be prompted to change your password.   All supporters can try this login test tomorrow who are purchasing a stream.   There is a live chat box in the bottom right hand corner so if you get stuck you will be able to get immediate help.

Given the unfortunate circumstances we are facing right now we just want to make sure everyone who wants to watch has the smoothest possible login and isn't still trying to get in once the game has kicked off.

Thank you
