Raith_Raver
An attacking team, with Varian AND Poplatnik. I would have kept Zanatta tho, after the way they couldn't cope with him when they were last here.
RR #1
Diamond formation maybe?

Specky Ginger
Certainly a bold line up, but don't think any of those dropped can have any complaints after recent performances.

Yeah we're definitely at the stage where it's worth trying something different.
Frank conner
Zanatta has been poor the last few games getting benched is probably what he needs.
CallumPar
Just realised Leon Jones is on the bench ahead of Vytas. Yogi’s lost the plot. Our best defender is behind Leon Jones in the pecking order.

He has no hiding place this time, he has a transfer window to work with which he didn't have before.
DAFC.
Rovers could take however much they want today if they fancy it. That midfield is an embarrassment. Vytas must be on his way out, surely? How the feck does Jones get in the squad ahead of him?

Have Varian and Poplatnik even started to together before? Four times by my calculation.
Frankly, Mr Shankly
You stand alone, by the phone, in the corner! Raith Rovers 3-0 Dunfermline Athletic.
Beachbum
I wonder how Hughes will react to that unexpected line up. Has he got it in him to adapt at short notice? Or will he completely screw it up.
Broken Algorithms
I didn't expect McGlynn to go with so many changes, but I think it's for the best. Zanatta hasn't been near his best, and Tait has been poor for a few months now. We put in our best ever performance under McGlynn against Dunfermline using the same formation albeit under different circumstances. Hopefully we can kick off 2022 with a memorable win.
MC_Lachlan
Curve ball from McGlynn with that line-up. Looking forward to seeing how it pans out. Been looking forward to this all week...been in covid isolation since boxing day. Would take another 5-1.
We Are Pars Fans!
Rovers -1 is 5/1 that’s some odds. That pars team is absolutely fucking shocking
CallumPar
I wonder how Hughes will react to that unexpected line up. Has he got it in him to adapt at short notice? Or will he completely screw it up. [emoji1]He doesn’t react to anything from the opposition. We’re watching the same players every week, in the same system, regardless of results. He doesn’t like Kai Kennedy, he doesn’t like Gaspuitis and he’d rather we played terribly and didn’t get results than put them on the park. They are our best players in their positions and have been frozen out - in Kennedy’s only start under Yogi, he got 2 assists and a goal. He hasn’t started a game since. Gaspuitis was part of a steady defence. He got dropped and we’ve conceded 6 goals in the 2 games since. Breen still plays, despite the fact he’s been a liability and is directly responsible for goals conceded every single time he plays. Results and performances don’t seem important to Yogi and it’s very concerning.
Raith_Raver
Maybe Yogi has some tactic up his sleeve to confound us. But, he never struck me as being crafty... Edited January 2, 2022 by Raith_Raver

San Starko Rover
Glad to see the Gaffer has run the changes as we were rotten the last few games, hopefully the changes create a bit more up top for the strikers as we’ve been pretty toothless recently.
