RobM
Nice one, probably still try and get up soon, rather wait for a game Michael McKenna is available, started off with us and his dad and family are featured a lot in Athletic's recent history. Thanks mate.

afc_36_0
Henderson in for mckenna (presuming he’s injured) would be the only change for me. Dont think wighton was great on friday but will probably keep his place.

Dont think wighton was great on friday but will probably keep his place. Just keep playing Wighton as much as possible and get him up to match fitness he’s not played a lot this season but the man is quality and he’s putting a shift in. If hes not having his best game Ford or LD are on the bench to come on. But that was a hard game on Saturday, a proper battle, and it was really his first start in forever because I’m not counting that Darvel game. That was no test Heard Accies haven’t even sold double figures in tickets so hopefully no segregation eta - I obviously meant Friday and also heard Mikey could just have some superficial cuts and it’s nothing overly serious so hopefully that’s the case Edited February 8, 2022 by 1320Lichtie
cdhafc1874
Heard Accies haven’t even sold double figures in tickets so hopefully no segregation That's hardly surprising. We'll be expecting to lose on form, it's midweek, to be baltic & windy at game time in Arbroath with horrible weather forecast in Hamilton for anyone driving back down afterwards. Not exactly enticing is it.

I was expecting 30 odd to travel but at Kirkcaldy a lot more than expected said they were going on Wednesday so hopefully get closer to 100.

Not exactly enticing is it. They usually turn out to be the best nights. We’re due a defeat soon. The fact we’ve not been beaten at home since July is absolutely wild. In a calendar year only 2 league defeats and a penalty shoot our exit to St Johnstone A game like Wednesday where we are at home and big favourites...
accies1874
I'd guess around 50. More likely to be under than over. I've still not bought my ticket.
lichtie23
It was announced at a Q&A earlier that there would be permanent segregation after what happened against Caley on opening day

They could surely put all the Hamilton fans in the end section of the main stand though and give us the entire terrace.
Granny Danger
Arbroath v Hamilton on the same night as Dundee United v Motherwell. A Tayside double against the Lanarkshire teams would be good for Scottish football.

Or the bit where flag is plus main stand so got cover and terrace Its annoying tho. Because NOTHING actually happened against Caley opening day of the season, the stewards literally caused drama from nothing due to a complete lack in understanding Of what actually happens at a football game and the fact they have zero communication skills. Things which you’d imagine should be pretty important factors in being a steward
Farflung
Cold and breezy night forecast. Isn’t winter football lovely? Conditions like this tend to turn the game into a bit of a lottery so we’ll need to just get about it as usual, and be a bit more considered in some situations (keeper clearances, balls forward). Since Arbroath don’t train anywhere near here, I always consider it a myth that we ‘handle the conditions better’ on the North Sea coast but maybe the actual games have given a little more familiarity with them. Our away record this season is actually better than our home, though far from shabby. Accies were really stuffy the last game (at New Douglas), when they struggled to get forward and were bizarrely time wasting from the minute they went ahead (only TOBs injury time header rescued it)…. But I think they’ve improved a bit and the whole league has tightened up so, as usual, it’s likely to be a close affair. Fans recently joining the Lichtie bandwagon may need to get accustomed to reality. Edited February 9, 2022 by Farflung

Lottery on the face of it seems OTT looking at that
Smokerson
Keep Wighton in as much as possible to get up to speed. Similar to Dowds when he first came in, took a bit time to get going. Hopefully McKenna will be fine and the rest picks itself.
