Just noticed that the council put up a link to a condolence book on Friday. Currently sitting at a total of seven messages, most of which appear to have been typed by people unfamiliar with keyboards (the elderly, presumably).

How come so many monarchists have trouble spelling the words 'Britain' and 'British'?

Aye Princess Anne would courtesy the start crying as the coffin came out then needing a sit down to an empty coffin while her old maw lay inside the Palace.

If it's true that the Honours of Scotland (the Scottish Crown Jewels) will be on top of the Queen's coffin at St Giles, those who queue for hours to see the coffin will get a bargain.

To see the Honours, an adult would normally have to pay at least £18 (£21 if you just rock up without pre-booking) to get entry to Edinburgh Castle.

Every cloud.

Maybe she hasn't left, perhaps they have had her stuffed and she will be forever on display in the grand hall of Balmoral alongside the hunting souvenirs

Charles phoned up the local taxidermist and asked him to have his parents preserved.

"Do you want them mounted, sire?"

"No, just holding hands."
