I'm not so sure about that one.

And these pictures from the trip to Forfar on the same twitter page?

Here they are outside Saddlers in north street

and I think this is the main hall at the Plough Inn, just around the corner

All faked, of course - part of the grand conspiracy against Rainjurs.

I'm surprised, however, that no-one on your message boards found this at the time.

I'm not suggesting the Saltcoats Loyal don't exist.

I've always thought the same, AS.

At the time of release, it was all over the Rangers forums and no one had ever seen these guys.

I rest my case, cunto

I was referring to the guy in the England top and the space monkey standing beside him with the Maradona t shirt.

I must admit it was quite funny though.  'Rule Fuckin Britannia!' :D

Thanks for the kind compliment by calling me cunto.  I won't lower myself to your level by responding with a similar insult.

When you go low, I go high.

Take a Steiner Recliner instead.

You specifically claimed that the Saltcoats Loyal quotes were scripted and suggested that their massive flags and rainjurs tops had been bought for the purposes of the film.

You then suggested that the BBC were using photoshopped pictures to illustrate news reports

At least be consistent in your trolling.

I think that he probably filmed fans going by, such as the Saltcoats Loyal and other assortments.  These would have been genuine fans.

I think that the England top guy and his mate were paid stooges.  This was the general consensus on the forums at the time.  When I mentioned scriptwriters with regards to Salmond shagging grannies, I had got mixed up as to who said what.  Also, my claim of the Saltcoats Loyal flag being photoshopped was just because it looked a bit dodgy with there being blurry bits round the letters.  Having looked again, I think it's real and these were just folds or whatever.

You've managed to break free from the Steiner Recliner to come back with a couple of haymakers.

Yeah, it might well have been the consensus on the forum, but most non-rainjurs fans have met enough moronic supporters who define themselves by the club they support to realise that even if it was faked, it was a pretty accurate representation of the views held by some (c.f. @spongeheid15)

Personally, I think it was real. If that was acted, the stage lost a great talent.

Haha fair enough.  It's a game of opinions.

I don't mind people liking the royal family, but any contributions to their largesse should be purely voluntary. Taxpayers should not pay a penny towards them and they should have no position in government. No job should be inherited.

A zombie "royal" family fed on contributions by sycophants would be pretty funny. I remember the documentary covering a street in London during the pandemic, some weirdo 50 year old man living alone used to send the queen a card for her birthday every year. Proper wacko behaviour. I'm sure some of these losers would prefer an absolute monarchy - there are still countries doing that if you want to go and check them out.

One thing that will always stick in my mind was before the birth of the latest great grandchild and the government changed the law so that if it's a female they would get the throne before any later born male. Yes because that's the unfair part, nothing to do with a random child getting hundreds of millions in taxpayer money over its lifetime and a position of head of state they are totally unqualified for and haven't done a thing to earn.

The Monarchy is a financial net benefit to the country, so getting rid of them would actually put more pressure on the taxpayer.

Wonder be funny to see the anti-Royals would be happy to pay the difference.

They should start saving now.

Simply not true, and even if it was it wouldn't be relevant.

If you mandated the prime minister and cabinet had to be pornstars you would probably get more people paying to see them in Westminster. Doesn't mean we should do it.

Buckingham Palace gets less visitors than Chester Zoo (and would of course still exist without the royal family).

France has more visitors than the UK, seem to be doing alright without a monarchy.

Would I pay extra to get rid of them? Yes probably, I find them repulsive and archaic. Back to the gossip pages where they belong.

It absolutely is true and it is relevant.  The Monarchy is a net contributor.

The pornstar analogy makes no sense whatsoever, although some on here undoubtedly have a fetish for Boris Johnson so you may be on to something.

You're saying you'd pay extra to get rid of them, so why do Republicans never suggest this?  All they seem to want is spread hate and be jealous.  This thread is a great example of this.

An even less convincing lie than your claim not to have had umpteen accounts in the past, each of which got banned because of your general appallingness.

Nope, it's not true and never has been. But I wouldn't care if it was, no country should set up its constitution based on attracting tourists (or whatever other way the monarchy supposedly contributes).

The tourist thing is nonsense as well, apart from specific events like royal weddings (attracting weirdos worldwide) it's hard to imagine them contributing to tourist numbers at all. Do tourists come expecting to meet them or something? Not even royal boot lickers are that stupid.

Am I jealous of them? Maybe a little, the queen was able to refuse to pay income tax for about 60 years - an ability I would quite like to have. If I was a royal I would probably see how monstorously unfair it is and my conscious would stop me continuing the charade.

There is a strand of republicanism that feels sorry for the royals, these bang average losers put in a golden cage for people to see and laugh at / fawn over. I understand it (especially for the poor kids) but for me most of them are grifters, they know this nonsense won't last and that is why they are filling their pockets as much as they can. The Spanish royal family are being even more blatant with it. It's a dictator mindset, they know their power is coming to an end at some point so will plunder whilst they can.

I’m fairly sure that the government eventually admitted that the extra day off for William and Kate’s wedding actually ended up doing more harm to the economy than good.
