Well today is the day I want Callum Davidson punted, it's reached that day. Butterfield and Crawford losing possession and running around in circles without a clue what to do has sealed the deal. WHEN YOU CAN'T KEEP POSSESSION IN MIDFIELD IT PUTS YOUR DEFENCE UNDER PRESSURE YOU FUCKING HOBBIT c**t.

f**k off and take your signings with you.

Ach calm down, it's Celtic you're playing here. Give Davidson a few more... months.

How much do St Johnstone need to spend in January to stay up? It looks like they need a whole new midfield and a striker that actually scores. CB probably another worry.

That's probably about 4 or 5 starting players urgently needed before you're talking about quality beyond that

A CB already been signed.

We need at least one wing back, and a new midfield/front line.

We won't do that in January.

Has Davidson went with a 4-2-4 for the second half here?

Wild

No. He doesn't change to a back four until after 60 mins if he's going that way.

It's 5-2-3 with May as a left winger.

We're down, comfortably, unless we can find 5/6 players who can slot into that first team and improve it.

So much pea hearted shite floating about in there though, its really hard to see us managing it in one window.

Always aware the OF can dominate us, but expect the team to show at least something resembling fight at some point. This is just a gutless acceptance we've lost the game before it had even started.

You don't need to become good in one window though. Just less shite than one of Dundee, County, Livi & St Mirren.

Not a massive task even if a couple of your planned 5 or 6 are utter shite.

County and St Mirren won't be near relegation.

Half our issue is a manager who refuses to change. Like everyone in the league knows how we play and how to counter it, yet we've not even tried to change at all.

Walker's comment there was interesting. "When you've got Stevie May, Chris Kane, Middleton, O'Halloran, you've got some decent players". To an extent, they are all guys who have gone through a purple patch at an earlier point in their career, and then never reached that level again, for various reasons.

St Johnstone have all 4 of them, supposedly attacking players, and yet constantly create f**k all.

It's like he's staggered that what worked last season isn't working this year so he's blindly carrying on under the assumption that it's bound to "click" again.

3 of those 4 don't fit this shape at all, and the other is Chris Kane who's never, ever, been a reliable scorer or creator.

It's hard to understand this thinking.

Know managers have to be stubborn to a degree, but fucking hell, its so obvious it's not working just now so do something about it.

To think Saints fans entered a ballot to get tickets for this, paid their hard earned cash on said tickets and chose to spend their Boxing Day at McDiarmid today just absolutely baffles me. I’m watching on “Sky Showcase” and even I am getting severe FOMO over literally anything else I could be doing with my day. ‘Only Fools and Horses’ is on all day on Gold, might get that on instead.
