They should have the lift that a new management teams gives a team early on. That and we are shit away from home. 3-1 Falkirk. We have been here so many times in the last few years as Falkirk fans and like most football fans, we believe this could be our pivotal moment. If Rennie is our saviour... our new Totten or Jefferies then somebody is going to get a hammering from us. Based on previous encounters, more than likely it's going to be Clyde sitting back looking for a draw or breakaway goal. It's Christmas, we are allowed to dream!

A better formation dealing with our defensive frailties, players being given clear instructions what to do especially our defence and a more balanced midfield with players in more comfortable/natural positions. Obviously players want to impress but even at EF we looked more assured.
brokeville
They did and L1 and 2 decided not to ask for postponements -https://spfl.co.uk/news/spfl-press-release-48140 Of course we don't know what if anything was on offer about extending the season or whether games were going to have to be played asap after the league recommenced or what happens if there was an extension of the crowd restrictions. I agree with your general statement about the SPFL being a bunch of idiots. I'm surprised the club havent issued a statement of their own since they issued this, may have got lost in doing the ticket allocation stuff for this game - https://www.falkirkfc.co.uk/2021/12/22/club-update-11/?fbclid=IwAR3GIBuvjjtljUnMbjZqUfk2mgXVb2YD4coTtdnmDpJTYD6uoSO26pxmXPwUnfortunately Falkirk’s the big loser in this given the match income. Most of the clubs struggle to get 500 fans so it makes no difference to them. Very little coverage of how the decision was reached if even if there was a vote.We just have to accept and get on with it.

Yeah for most teams in L1 and 2 the max capacity probably allows all season ticket holders in to each game at least, if the average attendances shown on transfermarkt are correct https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/scottish-league-one/besucherzahlen/wettbewerb/SC3 Edited December 24, 2021 by Davffc

Bairn in Exile
Rennie's Dual Action front pairing of Keena and Morrison to give us fast, powerful relief and Keena has us a goal up in the first 2 minutes. Morrison to net another just before the break. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named to pull one back for The Bully Wee midway through the second half, causing the Falkirk fans heartburn and leading to some squeaky bum time, but all's well that ends well, 2 -1 to the Bairns. O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant (well, 500 of us anyway). Edited December 25, 2021 by Bairn in Exile

HibsFan
Have Clyde got players out due to Covid, or are they really just being priced at 5/1 to win today?

We were rank rotten (still could be) and most teams have gone at us, getting a result. Yet, Clyde still parked the bus. Shite? Shit tactics against a shit Falkirk.

I expect us to lose today but it is a big price. I haven’t heard of any players being out with Covid but on paper we have a pretty dreadful squad, Goodie aside. Having said that we are on a wee run at the moment so confidence will be evident.

They must have dialogue with the clubs regarding this and other suggestions now. It’s just a pity the SPFL are an incompetent bunch of idiots. I'll be surprised if it's only 3 week these rules are in place tbh which could've lead to another cut fixtures out fiasco. The 500 figure is the issue, the figure should depend on stadia, terracing surely has more risks than all seated. Looking forward to actually seeing the game this week
