Mighty Mo V Blootoon.

Recommended Posts

The earlier game down there just broke 500 i think. We have had a much bigger squad than usual for us this season but look like to be missing 7 players for tonight so Jims main decision will be where to play guys as it will not leave enough to fill the bench like the old days. Hopefully those that play will get stuck in as they did on Saturday

McInally full of praise for Montrose and SP.

Half time and Mo quite fortunate to be 1-0 up. Steeves took his back post header well but questionable marking.

Peterhead have had a fair bit of possession in the Montrose half without creating many chances.  Rusty's glancing header off the post could of evened the scoreline up and would have been deserved imo.

Josh Mulligan and Hamish Ritchie standing out for me for the blue toon. Webby and Steeves for Montrose

All to play for in the second half.

Looking forward to travelling down for this one tonight.  Always enjoy our games although Montrose have been a bit of a bogey team recently.

Given the Covid shite going on, I hope there is a big crowd for this one.

I hope you enjoy your trip. The Peterhead fans are always good crack

Vital win. Bit out of sorts for a large chunk of the first half after getting in front. Thought the substitutions went a long way to keeping us in front, then being able to reassert control, and take the game away from them. Missed a couple of great chances, one of them an outstanding point blank save from the keeper.

Got very messy in the last 10 minutes with quite a bit of handbags, not really sure why, though the ref did look like he was struggling to keep control of the game. Not the best night for the officials, fair to say.

Table looks nice heading into the break. Happy festivus!

Scrappy game but a think we did enough to merit the 3 points ,not at our best tonight but can't be too downbeat with a 2-0 win at home to Peterhead. The two full backs both on loan from Dundee clubs for Peterhead were good players liked the look of them.Big Rusty did naff all apart from trying to wind up Dillion and that header of the post....Good riddance to him ££££

Deserved 3 points for the Mo, played good stuff at times but some scrappy moments, one of which led to Cammy’s red card. Cracking build up to the second goal, good to see Blair on the scoresheet, hopefully more to come.

Peterhead did have some passages of possession, other than when Rusty hit the post we were relatively untroubled. Lennox only really having 2 real saves of note to make

As most have said, not at our best and Peterhead can think themselves pretty unfortunate to go in at half time a goal down. A few glimpses of good play in the second half that opened up Peterhead,  one of which led to the second goal. Peterhead never looked like scoring apart from Rustys header off the post. Talking of Rusty, Thank feck he's not with us anymore. A waste of a shirt. The ref was pish for both teams.
