Hope Junior Mendes is getting a game, he will be out with a point to prove after his disappointing second spell IMO.

He's on the bench Mark Yardley starts.

A couple of kids from Kibble are in midfield to give them work experience.

The SPFL are there to support all of its member clubs with equality and impartiality- honest !!

Well yes, the point of having rules on player availability is that they apply to every club. Celtic had to play a second string in a couple of games back in January under similar circumstances and Dundee United were missing loads on Saturday for just two examples.

Ours was kind of our own doing though 😂

Yeah a second string that had half a dozen internationalists in it.

Not quite the same as a team having to recall four young players from the lowland league and eight other players who haven't trained since last week.

However, as ridiculous as the rules are, we must have agreed to them.

Alnwick in goal, with big Campbell Kennedy as emergency centre back to stop anything getting past. Top 6 Tony in midfield, Paisley Panda on the left, with one instruction - break that wee fcuker Kyogo in two. SMiSA to hold a vote thirty minutes before kick off, with their chosen representative getting the right midfield spot. The dapper Gordon Scott on the left wing, strolling through the match without even dirtying his brogues. Up top, a front three of emergency loan signing Jake, Doyle, and Hayes.

Easy the Mirren. 4-0.

This.

The SPFL are a members association, so you'd assume that the criteria set in place has been there since the start of the season and clubs have agreed to them.

It is obviously shite on St Mirren, but if they have enough players in the squad to meet the agreed criteria, then they cant really postpone it on those grounds.
