Would be nice to get toward euro places but the top 5 are quite a lot better than men. Chelsea taking a youngster who will probably never play for them for 10 million. Forgot to take screenshots before I signed off after finally getting my “one more win” in the cup vs Peterhead. Losing so many games where I dominated. Main difference is ronnie lawson banged everything in last season and this season he’s not. I’m in more or less the same spot as this time last season but I’ve bled a good centre half and trained a new 6’4 cm into a right back. I’m not going to loan anyone out this season as it doesn’t seem to develop them. I loan some out who aren’t ready but it’s rare they develop Under 18, keep them in the youth squad and don't play them in the first team or loan out. They develop better with training and mentorship. If they're flagged as available for the first team then they'll lose training time for rest prior to games even if they don't play. Once over 18 they develop more with competitive experience so loan them out if they're not going to be a starter for you. If they're not developing, then cut them loose once contracts expire. Unless you've got an amazing academy, you're not going to get many decent players through. To be honest, you're best not spending on youth facilities until you can afford it as they're massively expensive and the return on investment is limited. Better spending on loans and attracting players on free contracts. However, since you're doing a Invernessian only save, you don't really have an option! So if 2 stars is a Championship player don't let em go to League One. Try and get a feeder team sorted... Elgin or some shit. I’ve brought Holt back from Hibs, they bought him for 1.8 mill and ive paid 400k for him 2 seasons later.
