The East Fifers Vs The Bogstandard Bairns

Recommended Posts

Don't know if the abandonment's a good thing for us or not?

On the one hand it gives Rennie more time to work with the squad before it's replayed and we may have a couple of new signings in by then too.

On the other, we were 1-0 up at the time with the chance of actually winning the game.

Let's be optimistic and say it's a positive!

An absolute disgrace from East Fife tbh. If they cant provide the facilities to get a game on in December they shouldn't be in the league.

What could they have done?

Are you by any chance wondering what that whooshing noise is?

Don’t see why fans of other clubs think this is a heads gone moment for us. To be honest it wouldn’t be a bad thing if we didn’t play another game until the window opens to give Rennie a chance to get real football players in and to ship out the dross.

Its a bit disappointing to have a game we were winning called off, but then there was a long way to go, and a lot of unfathomably shite defenders playing in our team. Another week for Rennie to get his message and style into the players we have, and another week closer to hopefully several upgrades.

Would seem this guy Rennie is some sort miracle worker the way Falkirk are talking, more time to work with the players, get his message across, let's get to the transfer window etc.

Last week his Wikipedia page would've crashed with you guys trying to find out who on earth he was!

With the budget and full time resources available I find it hard to believe anybody could make us any worse! Surely the only way is up! Incidentally if you looked at the Wikipedia page mentioned you’d have seen he already has quite an extensive career all be it in America, also amongst Falkirk fans he is better known than you’d expect. He’s a local boy and a fan who’s name has been linked with the job periodically in the past most times it’s came up.

He’s actually been spoke about a number of times when we had a vacancy, given his links to the club and his success overseas. It was always suggested that he’d not be looking for a pay drop etc coming from the top flight MLS.

He’s alluded to the fact that it’s dream to manage his boyhood team, but also stated that it’s a way to build a profile in the U.K. market which is hard to break Into From the Far East and North America.

I think more Falkirk fans than you think were well aware of him. Some would have known him personally when he grew up here and others when his name came up on the outside of earlier management vacancies.

Apparently Keena beat 6 defenders, sat on the ball, played keepie uppie than back heeled it in from 25 yards. Pity it was foggy and we could not see ir

Heard he sacked Holt in the build up to the goal too, special powers given to him by the board for the game. Good day all round

I could not see Falkirk losing that game but I could not see them winning it either.

Does that boy Keena always behave like a dick in front of the opposition fans when he scores.Maybe he thought he was in front of his own fans.
