ASHFIELD MANAGER STANDING DOWN - END OF SEASON

Recommended Posts

Been announced that Paul Maxwell is standing down from his position as Ashfield Manager at the end of the

season. Have always found him good to deal with, and honest with his comments surrounding his team and other

clubs.

In the opinion of Pie and Bovril followers, who would be on the list to replace Paul?

Be interesting to see who gets job and if the core of the squad stay intact for next year .Some decent players at Ashfield  and Paul Maxwell  has done a good job on a limited  budget .

Mark McKay took Vale of Clyde very close on not even a limited budget they had no budget

Somebody like him reckon could do a very good job,but think it will be Daks they go for and give him his big chance another good guy that is respected  a good laugh but takes his football very seriously possibly a gamble but he would give everything for that club no question about it the same as Maxi does

I thought he took St Roch under 21 team?Either way he has been a manager longer than he has been a coach, and might have some unfinished buisness in the juniors he has already proved he can pull in players

Arthurlie doing well they will win the league but if then they go for proven Premier quality players

Quite a few could leave that he could take here if he was going to and put a pretty strong team together again

To be fair most of the first 11 are Premier quality players anyway for the Lee

It's the squad players that will be looking to go play somewhere else I reckon that aren't getting starts

Davie Greig has to be a good shout to done good at Blantyer and heard a while ago he was looking to get back in
