Air-da-ree v Kyoo Pee

Recommended Posts

I don't think last week's starting eleven was anyone's first choice, but you can't argue with a 6-0 win over who most would reckon would be up there scrapping with Cove. Interesting to see if Ellis sticks with them.

Hopefully the Diamontes are knacked and bruised after their trip to Montrose. They're at home so will maybe give us the space that Falkirk did. Here's hoping. 1-1 at worst, but I'll go for a 2-1 win for the Queen's.

Looking forward to the fitba after all the shite that’s been exposed by fans, rightly, this week. Great to see The Fox getting named in the SPFL Team of the Week. We’ve decent form against the higher-placed teams but struggle against the others. Conversely, Airdrie are picking up most of their points from the bottom half of the league. But what does the form book mean in this league?

Surely must start with last week’s starting line. Our biggest challenge might be dealing with the bounce from last week’s high. But as HD says, Airdrie should be coming at us which will leave more space for the ball players.

2-0 QP if we’re at it from the go.

What? Just forget how to pass a football, track back or melt like chocolate under the slightest press? Surely no team can be as bad but here's hoping.

Fear this may be our last time in a stadium for a wee spell going by the mood music at the press conference today. Sincerely hope I’m wrong.

In terms of the game, it’s time to hit the random number generator for the score. There’s absolutely no outcome in this league that can really come as a surprise now. Has to be the same XI if everyone is fit. Hopefully Airdrie are a wee bit tired after being in a hurricane during the week.

QP will be full of themselves, Airdrie will be hungry and raging after their mid loss at the hands of the MO.

Going by the Falkirk thread, its not because QP are good, its because Falkirk were p!sh.

Wasn't there, just going by the chatter

For as rancid as Falkirk are, we were still utterly superb throughout the 90 minutes. You don’t win games of football 6-0 in this league without playing well.

That's an understandable assumption to make, but it would be wrong.

Falkirk were indeed awful but we showed serious intensity and looked very motivated against them, two things which had been missing for weeks if not longer.

It'll take more than one pumping for me to believe that we've turned a corner but it's hard not to be encouraged by it.

Yes, this weekend work parties are the scapegoat. Won't be long 'til football gets the share of the blame.

That's a scunner. Two saturdays in a row without a game, possibly three if we cannot scrape a squad together for next week at broadwood.

Hope all involved recover without issue, and that this is not a portent of further disruption to football as we brace for this new wave (which to be fair looks to be upon us already).
