Was that the first time Alex Neil had been working on a Sportsound game last night? Seems a pretty big coincidence if so.

Yes, he said he had been invited up to Edinburgh by a mysterious American/Peruvian TV mogul for a meal.

Apparently the main course was disappointingly only marmalade sandwiches.

Best bit of Hibs sacking Ross is we'll get a few days of Falkirk fans demanding they hire him and responding with "money talks" every time they get told he won't drop to a mid table third tier side.

Nah. The best bit will be Falkirk fans demanding they hire him and responding with "local boy" and "ex player" every time they get told he won't drop to a mid table third tier side.

Read these and thought "surely they're not that deluded?", then looked at their thread and there's already 4 pages worth of this.

Ayr United fan @diegomarahenry openly said that he believed Derek McInnes was going to be the Ayr manager ‘any day now’ or word to that effect so I can’t be too harsh on Falkirk fans for their delusion.

Ayr probably wouldn’t mind Jack Ross for their team just now but of course a League one Falkirk is still a far bigger and better job than Championship Ayr.

Last time he was out of a job he went to watch Camelon instead of the Bairns, no chance he goes to New Brockville but Johnny Harvey must be shitting it at Camelon 😏
