Kelty Hearts v St Johnstone, SC 4th round

Good to see all the work the managers done over the winter break to improve our attack is coming to fruition.

We are absolutely fucking hopeless.

Pass ball about back - hump ball long to wing - wing back left all alone so pumps in cross or loses ball

Repeat forever.

We need to avoid extra time, last fucking thing we need before Wednesday.

To do that we'll actually have to get numbers in attack at some point and/or attack with some form of pace.

We're literally playing a flat back 5, as neither McCart or Cleary are moving up, against a League Two side.

What's the actual plan for getting a goal here?

I honestly hate watching us these days.

He's barely competent at this level at CB too.

He's completely fucked by a shape that leaves him isolated and expected to attack.

Looks like Gallacher will be the same.

Another couple of players on the list of "don't suit 5-3-2 and makes them look worse than they are", fortunately our manager doesn't blindly stick by a system and changes it based on the players he has.

We are a top flight football team (at the moment) that literally has no idea how to play football.  There's absolutely nothing there.

That's what happens when your manager is absolutely obsessed with keeping clean sheets.

Even last season we looked completely clueless whenever teams sat deep and asked us to play.

I still think go for the Joker card in Vertainen.

Even playing in Crawford's role he couldn't be worse than what we're seeing.

Will also never happen

He can't and won't player E2 or change formation as that would be an admission of error on his part. He'll double down before he does that.

Not really been Kane's day either.

I think there might be an extent to which his game is better suited to when the opposition is the better team and Saints are up against it (so every league game this season) - he's about as far the opposite of a flat track bully as you can get, as he can't even bully the....flat tracks.
