He gave your entire fucking team immunity from bookings and awarded you a nonsense penalty. He was your man of the match.

Both teams had attacking moments, with us crossing the ball to invisible people, and Morton firing their shot right at Kelly. The ref seemed to give those two morton guys immunity after their bookings, but it thankfully didn't cost us.

Fortunately for you the ref seemed to give 11 Motherwell guys immunity before the game kicked off. Can't believe none of them went in the book.

The referee was absolutely desperate for a home win and the penalty was inevitable. Brilliant performance from us until McLean's poor decision making at the end cost us.

I was expecting Motherwell to pound us but they seemed happy to play the ball from middle to wings without much of a threat. Hamilton made a few good saves bit I expected more.

You should write to the SFA.

Have you got their address?

I assume they are based in Motherwell.

How the feck did none of your boys get booked.

Ref felt guilty and let our booked boys off with a few in extra time, it's only fair.

Assuming the penalty was fair then we didn't lose because of Walsh, we lost because of a clumsy challenge and not clearing our lines, and the winner was worthy of settling the game.

He was still really shit though.

Pretty poor and we should have started with KVV and Slattery, got the game won and then rotated players.
Tierney likely made a meal of pen, but in real time from my angle (Main stand) it just looked like a ridiculously silly push and no surprise it was given.

I don’t know enough about Tierney to know if it was potential simulation but it looked to as if he went down after a push (I didn’t actually see the push).  The ref did seem to blow for everything so he was as well blowing for that.

We seemed not have a focus up front until KVV came on, Tierney is tiny but made an impact, McGinley slows down our play too often, Carroll clearly thought there was no danger leading to Muirhead’s goal, Amaluzor doesn’t have much about him but it was his challenge that created the winner.  A win is a win.

No urgency from us until very late in the game, we up the tempo and guess what they run out of steam and can’t deal with us. Van Veen and Tierney made a huge difference when they came on. Some let’s say meaty challenges from Morton players where they seemed to ignore the ball was there and just take out the player. The main thing of note on the thread is that there are Morton supporters who seem to think a blatant push on a player in the box is not a penalty, very strange, it was as nailed on a pen as you will ever see. But biased and all that.

Big team getting big team decisions. Can’t help it from the establishment club.

The penalty was an absolute stonewaller from the cooper end of the east. The Morton 25 seemed to make it his personal mission to batter Tierney at every opportunity, strange he didn’t see any action against his hatchet man behaviour.

Ref was shit.

McLean is shit.

Ref was shit.

For all that Muirhead got the goal, his performance up top when taking over for Gozie up there was pitiful.

Ref was shit.

Imrie is great.

Ref was shit.

We really need to figure out our crosses.

So many times during the match (especially with O'Donnell) that either didn't beat the first man or landed to an Oppoment. Still can't remember if we have a successful cross the entire game....
