Bottom of the table clash at EEP next weekend and it’s looking like we’ll be without what Yogi has described as our two best players, Dorrans (suspended) and Thomas (knee injury).

We were an absolute shambles in losing to Hamilton and very much need a win here.

It's a must win. No Dom is a fucking shiter though and says a lot about the rest of the team that they can't be trusted to do anything positive.

Heard Comrie was shite again? The f**k has happened, he was terrific for two seasons previous. Get Mcdonald there for a bit and throw Dow out right, bringing Wighton into th team up front.

He was absolutely terrible on Saturday. MacDonald was probably even worse, albeit he wasn’t playing in his natural position at least.

Dow, after a good showing and a goal vs Ayr, was also back to early season performance level.

Crawford was able to get decent levels of performances from some of these guys. Appreciate it takes time for a new manager to get across his own ideas but it's time for the likes of Comrie to step it up.
Dow appears to be a shell or what he was pre injury.

I'd still like to see Wighton more involved as he's clearly got the ability.

No ides what is the story with Wilson. Is it an attitude thing or a precaution from being out long term again?

Things don't look so rosy again, it's probably now about scrapping any kind of win on Saturday, getting anything from the games until January then punt as much dross as we can, whilst finding a gem of a loan or two somewhere.

Big changes needed for this I think.

Would go 2 up front for a start. I know Hughes has seemingly said he wanted to be more defensive, but what defensive work does Dow do playing between the striker and the midfield? In fact I was barely aware he was on the pitch at all on Saturday. We were poor defensively in general on Saturday anyway. We let them have far too many shots for a start.

Would go with Wighton and O'Hara up front to begin. McCann still has to prove himself and I'm not really getting why he's been ahead of those two. Hughes said something about more physicality, but Wighton is hardly a wee guy.

Would drop Kennedy from the squad completely. Play Dow there for now and Macdonald on the other wing. Not ideal but it's what we have to deal with just now until January at least, unless he fancies trying Allan or Pybus out there (in which case swap sides with Dow).

Bring in Pybus and Allan for Todd and Dorrans. No changes in defence unless Breen or Jones are still alive and can play left back.

We need to at least try to establish a style of play. No idea what it was in the last couple of games.

Comrie and MacDonald were both shite on Saturday. McCann probably the only one to get pass marks in all honesty, although I don't think he, or Todd for that matter, is the answer. I'd have played Pybus tbh. At least he'll run about and try and give a bit of dig. Honestly can't remember us winning a single 2nd ball in the midfield. It was like watching a Peter Grant disasterclass. A good team could have took anything they fancied on Saturday there. That and the Arbroath defeat are the two worst performances I've seen from us in years. People need to wake up when it comes to this squad; it is fucking dire and we are needing about 6/7 new faces.
