The Scotia.

On a serious note, basically every city centre bar is 'no football colours' so as long as you're not acting like arseholes you should be fine. I'd just avoid the ones closer to Pittodrie.

Black and white aren’t colours, they’re shades. We’ll be OK then. 😜

As to the game, as always seems to be the way, I say this though gritted teeth, fervently hoping to be wrong, but…. We are grim to watch, couldn’t score in a barrel of John Swinneys, and I can see nothing other than a run-of-the-mill 1-0 or 2-0 home win. The ball is very much in St Mirren’s court to prove me wrong. I hope they do, hope they do something up there, but, you know.

Is "no football colours" still a thing?  I agree that every pub is Buddie-friendly or at least Buddie-tolerant.

For reasonable food and simultaneous Live Red Hot Barclays Action you'd be looking at maybe the Stag or McGinty's I reckon.  Both a bit further away but still only a 20-odd minute walk to the away end.  The Illicit Still shutting down is a pain.

Shit , I never knew the Illicit Still had closed for good.  Shame , I really liked it on the odd occasion we were having a pre-match and/or post-match ran-dan.

Any pub recommendations to take in early KO and have half decent food that’s buddie friendly ?

The Bobbin perhaps, & was going to say Rowan Tree perhaps not :) but seems far better of late going by reviews

Oh and Aberdeen 2-1 :)

Feel the team need to right some wrongs from that Paisley game earlier in the season.

Despite conceding the dreaded early goal, they played well and were in complete control and should have been more than 2-1 ahead of HT.

The early second half red card to Jenks led to a complete @rse collapse.

I expect Smurn to be significantly better than Livingston, but another 3pts puts us into the healthier looking 20s and hopefully we can start thinking Europe rather than relegation again.

I was thinking back to that game and yeah, we weren't really worrying you at 2-1 - the red card was crazy and you completely lost the plot. In the context of our season so far, those three points have really helped to put a veneer on our position.

St Johnstone had a mass heads-gone against us as well; I'm wondering if Goodwin's been passing on some of the darker arts to our players. I'll never forget how wound up Derek Adams got about him.

Sorry to piss on yer chips, min but Collum’s the ref.

Is he ?

It's unusual for the same referee to be given the same fixture twice in a row. But it is Scottish fitba, so hey ho.

Anyway, this is tricky old game. We've really struggled this season against St Mirren and the likes, and I can't imagine that they'll be as awful as Livi on Wednesday.

Much will depend on the first goal. It makes a hell of a difference to us if we can get it. I'm rather pessimistically going for 1-1.

And the St Mirren fan who said that we had our 'mojo' back after one win, can go and sook ma boaby (in the best possible taste of course 😉

Can only go on highlights.  Against the blue dark side you played well. Against Livie you look much more of a threat say from Aug, Sep ?

In most games you could probably make us look good from highlights. Over 90 minutes we're having too many moments where we struggle.

I'm not quite 'Glass out' because when it's good it's very good. Need to get to that level consistently.

Really good to get a win in midweek and hopefully Aberdeen will kick on now.

Watched the highlights of St Mirren on Midweek and I don't know how they didn't scored in the 2nd half. Sportscene had a stat that the last 6 matches they had 108 shots with 3 goals. St Mirren will click in a game and hopefully its not tomorrow.

Here's a fun fact, Pittodrie is the only ground I have ever been escorted from.

You’re not trying hard enough at other grounds then. Are you going today? If you are I’ll give you a wave from the RDS Lower as you make your way up the steps with your arms pinned behind your back.
