The decision was not made by the SFA any more than it's the SFA's decision that Scottish referee's enforce the offside rule. Rather than the usual focus on events 300 years ago, Rangers are - remarkably - looking to the future here. Even in England, 3pm live streams to any territory will be upon us very soon. There are plenty of countries in the world where this already happens and it has negligible impact on crowds - but a noticeable impact on income streams.
