Motherwell vs Dundee United - 30th November - 19:45 kick off

Well the better team and deserved their win there.

Can't really say much positive about united other than they improved second half but then the pitch was abysmal.

Probably should have abandoned the game Maguire got sent off. Don't even think there was much in it but the conditions made it look worse.

Poor performance. Watson did well in his spell on the pitch. If Mclean thinks the pitch is playable he has to allow compensation for the conditions: McGuire should have been given a bit leeway.

Motherwell deserved the points, this is a terrible spell from United, showing how much we rely on Fuchs and to a lesser extent Levitt for our formation.

Fully deserved 3 points for us tonight. Should have been more comfortable but given the conditions, the red card and Saturday’s shitshow any win is welcome.
Watt and Woollery the standouts and a really strong showing from Slattery and Mugabi as well. Utd were really poor though, poor delivery from set pieces, lost the ball from just about every one of their own throw-ins and really naively kept trying to play the ball on the deck once the pitch became a swamp in the last half hour.

Second half was one of the strangest 45s of football I've ever seen, solely down to the conditions. Some of our players- O'Donnell especially- didn't seem to get to grips with it until about the 80 minute mark. Even then though we came close to scoring a few times.

Gutted for Maguire getting a red because I thought he was great tonight and the midfield looked ten times better than at Dens. Sol injury looked not great too, could be out for a while. Is there some sort of contagion that means motherwell managers can't sort a sub because it was obvious he was done as soon as he went down but O'Donnell wasn't told to get stripped until Sol was limping off the park.

Tremendous shift from the front 3 tonight. Could and should have had more goals. But Utd barely threatened us so we weren't punished.
