That said, I remain sure that Dennis could be a player if he can get a run in the team. On current showing, Obika and Morias were far better than any of the current crop. Dennis appears incapable of scoring but at least holds the ball up reasonably well and shows a bit of guile in bringing others into play. Brophy does neither of these things and has been completely hopeless since he started fantasising about getting back into the Scotland squad. On the rare occasion he gets the ball under control, he runs with his head down and shoots no matter how unlikely the angle/distance from goal. Obika's goal scoring record (career in general and for us) stands up very favourably against any of our current strikers.
