That would be the sensible thing to do.  But we have to bear in mind that in doing so AJ would probably then tinker with the midfield to ensure that Max gets his guaranteed start.

Indeed. Gibson to RB, Nditi to CB with Johnston benched is the best solution but it's an absolute stick on that one of Cochrane or McGrory are for the chop.

Not been his biggest fan but have to say I thought Johnston played well last night.

Edit to add not saying I think Johnston should start on Saturday just acknowledging what was IMHO a good performance.
