Cardiff on Sunday will be hellish. But you know what, with all that being true, we might well still do it. In which case it will be the finest acheivement of any Scottish side, club or international. The teams players including the goalie all get a a chance to influence the outcome, with no more luck involved than a deflected goal or a dodgy penalty that might otherwise settle a match. In fact, I'd scrap extra time and go right to penalties. 90 odd minutes is plenty time to settle a game. The consequences for not doing so are known by all in advance and are well established.
