He's the best we have at putting a ball into the box. Never plays. Because that is literally all he has. He's behind 4 or 5 other players in our midfield despite the shite performance tonight.

Ewan8472
Obviously Craig Gordon was interested ! I also give you Callum McGregor for his tackle on the Ukrainian when he only had C.G. to beat

Much like the Euros, you'll quite simply won't get anywhere against half decent sides when you miss fucking stupid sitters like that. McGinn has been pretty poor for a long time now.

The goalkeeper was comically poor. Of course we troubled him not at all bar the goal and McGrim's comedy miss. eez-eh
We’ve scored a few good goals from inswinging corners recently. Does anyone know why for every corner we decided to float in outswingers that were nowhere near that complete haddy of a keeper?
BFTD
Very disappointing performances all round, regularly making the wrong decisions at key moments. Never managed to get the tactics right, and Steve Clarke's warlock powers weren't enough to do more than stop Ukraine scoring more of their chances when we were sluggish at the back. But, it was still a better performance than some of the poorer ones from the start of Clarke's reign, and I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that the extraordinary occasion might have caused the team to regress. I guess we'll see if the hangover bleeds into the Nations League games. Despite how we made them look tonight, I still maintain Ukraine are a pretty mediocre side, and Wales ought to beat them.

Anyway - woeful set up and Clarke reverting to his dinosaur tactics of bypassing the midfield. McGinn and at least another seven absolutely awful.

Yet again at home to a nation around our level we don’t show up. The players simply aren’t interested and the so-called Scottish media couldn’t be more delighted that Ukraine won. Starting with two up front tonight was a mistake. Hickey is not a RWB yet so there was not much progress on that side In the first half. Robertson was always marked so never had it easy on the left Edited June 1, 2022 by Ewan8472

Monkey Tennis
Euros are alright, but you really want to be at a World Cup. I turned 24 during the first one in my lifetime that we missed. We've only made one since. I've never watched us in any with my son and he'll be 20 by the next time that's possible. It's grim.
