Where’s the best place for parking?

We always park on North Woodside Road. Wee hike to get the blood moving again after the game.

Its going to be the first time in a long time since we had a match thats going to be baltic, the wind is going to rip round the back of that main stand. I'm going Michelin Man style.

Game could be a lottery tonight. Is the wind as bad through in the west?

Not really. Dry as well. Cold but, so I'd leave the top hard in the charabanc.

Wind isn't forecast to be as bad in Maryhill tonight as other places in Scotland. Just a yellow warning rather than an amber one.

Still likely to be fairly blowy though

Why was this on Friday if it’s not on the box?

Queens Park v Kilmarnock is also being played at Firhill in this round.

As to why this game isn’t on the Saturday, Thistle get the option of the first game when both ourselves and QP are at home on the same weekend. And Killie have a Challenge Cup game on the following Tuesday, which means they can’t play on Sunday and the only real way of doing it is this game on Friday and QP v Killie on Saturday.

Any Jags fans coming tonight? Starts in a few minutes like...

The support in the Jackie Husband stand tonight is an embarrassment.

Looks to be less than half the amount who were there for the Accies game last week.

Don’t disagree but a fairly un-interesting cup tie against a team we’ve played 3 times already in the last few months, on a Friday night - therefore low crowd doesn’t really surprise me.

Pictures quality keeps dropping for me. Irritating.

Anyway, I thought only teams we played against could utilise a wind based advantage? I thought we were unable to use the wind to our benefit? Certainly this was what I was led to believe by a former manager and a multitude of players.
