Clash of the Dinosaur Managers II - Morton v Ayr, The Extinction Event, 4 December

Recommended Posts

Sadly no option.

Ayr there for the taking.

McPherson tatics sit back hold what you have equals redundancy. Normally have sympathy for out going manager he just couldn't  change.

Every decent ball into box resulted in a goal. Ayr had a junior goalie yet we don't attack the weakness.

A win today was a lot more important than Tuesday's cup game. Didn't  get it.

Might as well start this now in anticipation of the most eye-bleeding game of football in geological history and a potential shame game from both sets of fans at the same time.

Have two managers ever been hounded onto the park at the start of a game before? Which ex-Morton, Hopkin-signed haddy will score a last minute winner - and for which team?

Re: the game. We controlled it without looking dangerous with the exception of cross balls. We coulda played for days without Ayr scoring until they took Alafobi off. The lad that came on's pace pinned us back more. That wouldn't have been an issue if Gus changed it up a bit but it left a huge gap between midfield and attack and let Ayr dictate the game. Bawjaws made like for like subs letting it happen and letting it continue.

Murdoch is still a pler. I cannae fucking believe Ray McKinnon let him go. Still raging about that.

I'm assuming Millen will follow him out the door which begs the question who's in the dugout for the two ICT games?

Millen might hang around to see if he can get that square-go he’s been looking for…

As for who’s next, give it to someone younger, more energetic, with an idea in his fekin skull.
