embow
Geez! The excitement behind a first win of the season. Starting the next match thread before the previous one has had a wee bit of time to cool down a wee bit. Gaun' yersel's. Enjoy. THEHonestman1910
Can't see anything other than a Dunfermline win here so I'll go 0-1 Ayr.

CallumPar
First time in a while I’m looking forward to next week’s game. Genuinely interested to see what an actual football manager can do with this squad. Given reports from yesterday, I’d expect McCann to start - sounds like he impressed. Can’t see many personnel changes from the start. But I’d expect him to look to get the likes of Kennedy, Todorov, Wighton, Allan and Vytas game time over the next few weeks to see what they can offer. If Yogi can finally get some development out of McCann, that would be great. The guy’s career has stalled since he was about 17. All the coaches talk about his talent, but he hasn’t performed well when given the chance. If Yogi can get the beat out of Dom Thomas, we’ll be fine this season. Liked the picture of them hugging at full time, hopefully that proves to be a good manager-player relationship. Keeping your best/most influential players happy is half the battle in management. Dom is clearly an influential player in that dressing room.
Trogdor
One thing is certain. It'll be Ayr United nil, a nil nil draw is our best hope. I expect another turgid performance with one shot on target if we are lucky.
AlwaysAPar
This is where the master plan starts to come together lads. Our loss at Somerset ensured the ayr board and fans were happy for one troglodyte in the dugout to be formally replaced by another, meaning they would remain around the relegation places for the rest of the season. Our loss to Morton the other week guaranteed their hopeless manager would remain for another month or so at least, giving us plenty of time to ride off into the glorious sunset of mid table mediocrity
Chubbychops
In hospitality for this next week. My current record in hospitality is W-1 D-2 L-7. My last game in hospitality was a defeat to Ayr.

Stellaboz
By all accounts, McCann wasn't great at the weekend but was involved in one of the goals. Much prefer to see Wighton play, if Yogi can find his form from last season.

He started to really cause big problems for the Inverness defence. First half like every other player was anonymous to be fair though. Certainly wouldn’t drop him for Wighton yet.
DAFC.
He was a total ghost the first half but got in about it in the second half, and won us possession back to get the equaliser. I’m not so sure on him still in all honesty. If Yogi can get Wighton firing again, then he will be like a new signing. Hopefully there is a good turnout on Saturday. That win has breathed some life in to our season and we should now be looking to take the onus, grab games by the scruff, and win well instead of hoping for jammy, shitfest wins like we were doing under the previous moron. Still think there is a lot of changes required for that squad but more than good enough to put away Ayr surely to Christ with a proper manager in charge.
HoBNob
For the first time in a while I fancy our chances of winning. Would be lovely to drag a few times down to the bottom place party.
diegomarahenry
After a gutless display against Thistle, all the players and staff deserve a bollocking and hopefully we would see a reaction and a better performance on Saturday. That won't happen and if Dunfermline are even slightly interested in winning the game, Ayr will easily surrender all 3 points. After that point, it becomes all about how many they want to score. 4-0
Stoo61
No idea what will happen on Saturday.
DA Baracus
Wighton should be starting ahead of McCann every single time. McCann has all of 0 goals. Wighton has considerably more. Anyway, hope that Vytas makes it back without any issues and that Breen recovers, otherwise we may actually start with Graham in defence...
DAFC.
Breen walked off the pitch at full-time so hopefully just a knock or a dead leg. Imagine Vytas will be fine too. Should be sound. But, aye, Graham playing is major fear.
