Hearts v United 6 November 2021

Recommended Posts

Pleasing and frustrating in equal measure. Pleasing about the result and performance. Frustrating still about recent dropped points and potentially needing last week's boot up the arse to bring this back out of us.

Ideally we will put another good run together with a few more wins this time, and see where we are after we've played both the Old Firm again in December. I think we will start to pull away from the pack in third, but hopefully we can at least keep it a bit more interesting than that for a while.

Hearts are comfortably the best team we have played this season, they have been much more impressive against us than either Rangers or Celtic were.

This thread is turning into quite the love-in, which is surprising given recent history between the clubs.

Good to show a bit of mutual respect, when an opponent puts in a performance. Don’t have to like the opponent to recognise when they are decent.

Oh look, there's Dundee fans on a Dundee United thread while Dundee FC are actually playing. Utterly obsessed.

Why are you always so fucking angry at Dundee fans when Dundee United Football Club lose?

Just relax, Sarto. Its only a game.

I've always had a lot of respect for Dundee United, tbf. Fantastic history and support, especially when you consider the population of Dundee/surrounding areas and the fact it's a two team city.
