Cook macaroni. Blend cheeses of your choice with natural yoghurt. I use cheddar or red Leicester, boursin and a bit of stilton. Put it all in an oven dish, top with more red cheese, some parmesan and optional bacon and/or tomato.

Sounds like bannocks to me but if there are any Latin scholars out there... 

It's the land of the Caledones tribe.

Caledones apparently means hard feet ie steadfast and sturdy. 

I'm both sturdy and have hard feet myself.

Caledones is a proto-Celtic word and we still have the hardness element around today in places like Callender, Loch Callater and Bridge of Cally all meaning hard water.
