I fail to see the significance of this "story", tbqh.

Just a bit of Markle-bashing. Surprising to see it in the Independent; it seems to be hardcore Lizzie fetishists and far-right racists who are fuming at the continued refusal of Megan Markle to quietly become a red splatter on the inside of a Parisian tunnel. Apparently they have been trying to make “Whinge and Ginge” a thing - they feel that this pair have disrespected their nonagenarian idol and must be disgraced for it.

I started 64 years ago and it was imperial.

Moi. I started school 57 years ago. Imperial to start but metric creeping in by end of primary.

In this deeply scientific experiment, it would appear that people brought up using imperial measurements are old enough to remember England winning the World Cup.

You poor b*****ds.

The entire clip is even more cringe

Imagine inviting someone round for a cup of tea and expecting them to pour you a cup

if Padington turned up from Peru today he'd be sent to Rwanda.

Paddington 3 will see him threatened with deportation to the West Indies.

And me. I'm 63, my brother is 60. When he was 10 or 11 he asked me what 'quart' meant (on a 2 pint milk carton). Turned out he had no idea how many pints were in a gallon.

Metric v Imperial

Tell me a baby was born weighing 4.5kg and I've no idea.

Tell me they were 10lb and my c**t winces.

When our boy was born the midwives told us his weight in kilogrames.

I passed this on to the mother-in-law who was straight back on to me saying ask about lbs! Whats that in lbs?
