Aye, they type of tackle that fans love and gets the crowd up but is ultimately a bit pointless. In terms of bookings (what i was on about) midfielders are generally more likely to get booked in the Premiership if the last few seasons are anything to go by. This season Porteous has either the most or joint most (IIRC) yellow cards for a defender. If he's flying into a 50/50 that's another conversation, but when he's getting booked for tackles he doesn't really need to make then i think there definitely is room for improvement.
